about pastor dennis blaisdell

Dennis Blaisdell has served as the Lead Minister at Access Christian Church since it began in December of 2023. Originally from Maine, Dennis moved here with his wife and three children to plant the church in partnership with the CORE Christian Community.

Before entering full-time ministry, Dennis served in the U.S. Army, earned a degree in History, and spent years as a middle and high school teacher. He also lead in the area of sports as a football, basketball, and baseball coach. Both in the classroom and in the sports arena he was committed to encouraging core values and character into the next generation, guiding them as they developed into strong, principled young men and women.  Today, he brings that same high-energy motivation and enthusiasm from the classroom and the field straight to the pulpit to deliver the Gospel every Sunday morning.

Dennis came to faith in his early 20s when God placed a clear calling on his heart to serve others and teach the Word. After serving in both children’s and youth ministries, he felt called to a new mission: making the Gospel accessible to the special needs community. Despite having no formal background in special education, Dennis spent months interviewing both Christian and non-Christian families to truly understand their challenges and needs.

This research birthed Access Christian Church—a place where families from the special needs community don't just attend, but serve as fully active participants in the body of Christ. As Access continues to grow, Dennis remains dedicated to building a unified church family where individuals of all abilities worship and grow together.
